“the spiritual heirs to Pink Floyd, the Tree offer a magical kaleidoscope of elegant rock pleasure, showcasing understated rhythm, grand synth washes and sweet, punchy electric guitar” – Record Collector
Porcupine Tree, led by visionary musician Steven Wilson, released ‘Up The Downstair’ in 1993 as an album that took British psychedelic and progressive rock into the modern era, dropping the indulgent nature of the genres for forceful, emotive music.
Porcupine Tree released their last album, ‘The Incident’, in 2009, marking another step forward in the incredible journey of the band that began as a solo studio project created by Steven Wilson in the late eighties to a multi grammy nominated act and one of the world’s most revered live bands, selling out arenas across the globe and wowing fans with their incredible performances.
