Formed in Brixton in 1976, This Heat drew from a deep well of influences including krautrock, musique concrète and dub reggae. ‘Made Available’ collects the band’s first two sessions for John Peel, recorded for BBC Radio 1 in 1977, and features essential songs from their debut album, ‘This Heat’ (1979), ‘Deceit’ (1981), and works unique to these sessions. This reissue is sanctioned by original members Charles Bullen and Charles Hayward. This reissue is the frist time the album has been on vinyl for over 20 years.
