2 x LP reissue. Remastered.
For the sake of genre classification, Seefeel were bundled in with the then burgeoning shoegaze scene when they first emerged in the early ’90’s. There were clear reasons for that, not least in the fact that their music was undeniably otherwordly. But their dense textures and unique blend of ambience, guitars, dream-like vocals and dub electronica set them apart as a band who were attempting to take the form further.
Seefeel’s third studio album was recorded for Richard D James and Grant Wilson-Claridge’s Rephlex label. Originally released in 1996, this is the first time it has been available on vinyl since and has the addition of an extra LP of bonus material, mastered from original DAT transfers by Stefan Betke aka Pole.
